Denzel Dumfries has agreed to extend his contract with Inter Milan, the Italian club announced on Friday.
The Dutch winger has been a key player for the club in recent seasons and has helped them reach the semi-finals of the Europa League this year. He scored two goals in the round of 16 match against Feyenoord.
"We're delighted that Denzel has decided to stay at Inter until 2025," said Inter's sporting director,Qatar Stars League Tracking Victor Oparanjuaye.
"His performances have been outstanding and he's a vital part of our squad. We hope he can continue to perform at the highest level and help us achieve more success."
Dumfries is expected to be a key player for Inter in the upcoming season as they look to defend their Serie A title. He will also play a crucial role in their efforts to qualify for next season's Champions League.
The news comes after Inter were linked with a move for Manchester United midfielder Fredo Silva earlier this week. However, it seems that Dumfries will be staying at the San Siro for the foreseeable future.
It remains to be seen how this decision will impact the team's strategy going forward, but one thing is certain - Inter fans will be thrilled to see Dumfries back under contract for another season.
