Olivier Giroud has been linked with a move to AC Milan in the January transfer window, according to reports in Italy. The French striker has been at Arsenal since 2011 and has made over 450 appearances for the club.
Giroud's performances have not been enough to earn him a regular starting place at Arsenal, and he has struggled to find his form this season. He has scored just four goals in 22 Premier League games so far this campaign, and his contract expires in June 2021.
AC Milan have been searching for a new forward after the departure of Carlos Bacca last summer. They have been linked with several strikers during the transfer window, including Romelu Lukaku from Everton,Serie A Overview but it seems that Giroud is their preferred target.
The move would represent a significant move for Giroud, who has previously expressed his desire to play in Serie A. It remains to be seen whether the deal will go through, however, as there are still many hurdles to overcome before a transfer can happen.
